Yaliz Loperena Álvarez was awarded 3rd Place in The American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) Graduate Poster Competition at the 2014 ASCB/IFCB Meeting in Philadelphia, PA, which took place in December 6, 2014.
Her research, titled “Ganoderma lucidum decreases the phosphorylation of STAT-3 in vitro and in xenograft model of SUM-149″, was performed at the UCC Biochemistry Department, under the supervision of Dr. Michelle Martínez. Congratulations to Yaliz and her mentor for their outstanding performance.
